The 2019 International Infection Prevention Week (IIPW) is October 13-19, 2019, it’s organized by the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC). And the theme for International Infection Prevention Week is Vaccines are Everybody’s Business. As we know, it is crucial that healthcare professionals across the continuum work together to eliminate vaccine preventable diseases. And compare to other prevention & cure method, vaccines is effective & present an easy way to stay healthy and prevent infections from spreading.
IIPW takes place every year during the third week of October, the purpose of IIPW is to raise human’s awareness of the critical role infection prevention plays in improving patient safety. If you’re interested to participate in IIPW, here are a few easy ways to get involved.
